I kept a small fire in it all day and it kept my workshop just a bit under 70. It doesn't burn as much wood as I thought it would. I probably burnt half a 5 gallon bucket worth. What is the diameter of the chimney?

Well inspired by you I did my own little woodstove project I made it out of a woodstove that was fit for that purpose only really innovative thing I was able to do was sit it on top of some blocks (so I didn't have to buy any pipe) and bend the bottom of the pipe into an oval, I am going to have to get some stove caulk, well I have some in the basement and put it in the seam up top. But I didn't have a wood stove in my garage for a couple of years so I hadn't been spending time in there like I used to but inspired by your post I decided I'd get a woodstove and start spending some time in the garage again I have a bunch of projects built up so hopefully I get a few things done. So thanks for the inspiration

I have a small wood stove, too. Except mine was bought and came from the Military. I was designed for use in the old canvas wall tents. That thing works great in a G.P. Small. But never on Scout trips because that is not allowed......

I've been running the stove a lot since I got it installed. Its working great. I got carried away stoking it up one day and my workshop was 84 degrees. I had to open the door for a while.
