Could be an interesting meeting (that I will have to miss). Agenda item# 4 is proposed new fees. Wasn't too bad until I got to the hunting and fishing licenses. Meeting is next Tuesday at 5 PM at McCormick's Creek State Park. www.in.gov/nrc/meetings-and-minutes/current-meeting-agenda/HatchetJack

On the pdf, there are three different fee columns. The last column reads "specific fee changes for 2021/22".
If this passes does that mean the specific fee changes would kick in this year? For example, the deer bundle now is $65.00. Under the specific fee changes, the proposed amount is $91.00.
Just curious.

Oh. I’ll complain, but still buy my licenses like every other year. Has been a good long while since a fee increase so it’s bound to happen soon.

Well that sucks. But, like some have said, it has been awhile since fees went up. I don't have to like it but, if I still want to play, I'll pay.

License fees are a small fraction of the cost of hunting compared to the equipment prices.

Crying in the streets coming soon…. Beware! So....... does my thought of a single antlered license being good the entire year fit a little better after the fee increases?

That’s not a option at this point…. Christmas is coming though so wishing is welcomed. Start your petition….Personally I don’t believe it ever happens unless the bundle goes away!

The simplest way to simply things would be to sell just 1 bundle per person per year. Wouldn't that cause a ruckus

Based on the proposed increase for spring turkey and game bird stamp it looks like it would be $44 for turkey next year. As someone who doesn’t have private land to hunt turkeys and has been motivated to buy for F&W lands draws (but hasn’t been successful yet), $44 is kinda pushing it for me. Although if I make a long trip to the HNF that would justify it. I wonder if there are other solely public land hunters that would drop off because of an increase.

62.5% increase on a resi deer tag and 40% increase on the resi deer bundle for 2021, wow seems like a rather large increase. I get that prices have to increase over time but the amounts just seem a bit too much all at once. I have not read through all the links posted, have they given a reason good or otherwise for the amount of increase?

The lifetime license looks to be a better deal every year. I'm glad that I scrimped and ate Ramen Noodles so I could buy it.

I wonder if we can get any traction with getting an annual sportsmen license with these proposals? Include a deer bundle, regular hunting, regular fishing, turkey, necessary stamps for a reduced price than everything separately.

I think the DAV licensing should extend to deer and turkey, Not only because I would benefit from it but because it would be the right thing to do.
