Got a Milwaukee Fuel M18 that I like pretty well. I also have a compact Milwaukee that I use for the gutters.

Not a leaf blower but a push mower is pretty nice.
I have a backpack stihl gas powered that would take a disaster to replace. But if I did I would have no issue with a good battery powered one. Have to be a backpack though

Have to be a backpack though I will say most of the professional mowing company’s use a Stihl gas backpack

Can’t say much on a blower but Dewalt and Milwaukee fuel are the battery tool of choice by 95% of the guys I work with be it a saw drill hole hog reciprocating saw I don’t think you’d go wrong with one Wind speed and battery life would be what I’d look at The real down side to battery is when they go bad you got 1/2 the cost of what you bought in replacing them

Ryobi is ok I would go with a different brand if you haven't already started an interchangeable battery powered tool set. Their batteries konk out and stop recharging too fast in my opinion.

A very good friend made a living repairing small engines and recently retire because of health issues. A few weeks ago he told me the future of garden tools is battery powered, his wife has 2 EGO tools and he swears by them. Last week while on our fishing trip one of the guys said he has 2 EGO tools a weed eater and a leaf blower and loves them. Friday I went to LOWE'S and was the 3rd person in line waiting to purchase a EGO leaf blower.
I bought the biggest unit brought it home charged the battery... I am impressed.

I asked My “yard guy” about them and he said -
“EGO brand would be a good recommendation. Milwaukee I hear is up and coming”

I have DeWalt leaf blower and weed eater. Can't complain about either. The leaf blower would not cut it if I still lived in a woods. I had the biggest Red Max made and it was still more than I wanted to deal with. The battery blower is absolutely perfect for blowing out the garage and clearing grass clippings from the sidewalk. I wouldn't trade that weed eater for anything. Not meany to cut brush, but perfect for weekly grass trimming.
I bought an Ego mower when the kids were sent home for school at the start of the non-demic. Absolutely perfect for what I bought it for. It gives me the option of letting the kids mow if I'm in a hurry. I like using it myself because I can listen to pod casts while mowing. If the battery gets low before I finish, I just put it on the charger and weed eat for a bit. No regrets with the Ego, but I would have bought a DeWalt had there been a self-propelled model available for the simple fact of having all DeWalt power tools. DeWalt now has one.
With that being said, if I had to start over, I'd buy all Ego yard equipment due to the interchangeable attachment for the trimmer platform.

I'm debating on getting one. In regards to a string trimmer, I need one now, and I have a Ryobi 4-stroke that I haven't fired up in maybe 10 years. Debating whether it's worth it to fix it if it needs fixin' or go battery powered. No trees or brush, just a lot of grass. I will be re-designing the landscaping so I can hit everything with the riding mower in the future. OR use Roundup as my edger.....

I’ve got a Ryobi 4 stroke trimmer. It’s been good for me. Plenty of power for the brush blade and the small tiller attachments.

I've had a Black and Decker 20v trimmer/blower combo for well over 10 years. For a small lot, they work well, and for the $100-$120 they cost me, I've more than gotten my money out of them.
I have thought about stepping into a better set up, but until they crap out, I'll keep using what I have.

I just bought a ryobi 18v pole saw. This thing will cut a 6” branch no problem. I used it yesterday to trim a green ash tree the emerald ash borer got into and killed some big branches (12”). Cut them easily just went side to side. Reaches 9.5 feet and not that heavy. Went with ryobi because I have about 20 of their 18v tools.

The place where my son in law works gets promotional Milwaukee stuff at good prices. I was able to get the leaf blower and pole saw combo for about $50 over the cost of the saw if bought individually. Also picked up an extension so it is excellent for trimming shooting lanes. Have a cheap Skil sawzall I use to trim stuff from the stand. I am though....awfully impressed with that EGO featherduster.

I have a Milwaukee weed eater. Only have it because I already had a drill, driver and joist cutter. The weed eater goes about a half hour on full charge, does 90% of what I need when I need it.
