Using fish fertilizer as I’m watering the garden, works with soaker hose and sprinkler.

Sweet corn and tomatoes plants are honestly looking about the best they ever have, I have been watering tomatoes for about 3 weeks and sweet corn is going to be tasseling this week, so I'm watering it for the first time today.

You must have had a lot more rain than me. Most corn around here is less than knee high, and some is only about six inches.

The deer broke the bottom strand of my fishing string fence and ate some of our plants. I patched the fence and will be watching the back yard at night.

Radishes and beets are my only crops so far. Pickling cukes are a couple weeks away.
I make pickles known as "sunshine pickles". You put them in a jar, add brine with seasoning, then cover and put outide on the deck for a few days to ferment. Then into the fridge for at least a week. Anyone else make pickles this way? I'm interested to hear any other methods.
