F1 doesn’t run the high banks of Daytona also… what about the the fans in the stands?Bet that be a great experience! What about the fans at the F1 races? What does the high banking have to do with it? Aren't flat corners harder to go around fast in the rain? What about all the fans that flew down to see the race? Do they get their tickets refunded because they have to fly back to be home for work on Tuesday? Extra day in the hotel, etc., etc. |

Extra day in the hotel, etc., etc. Lol… if it rains hard enough F1 won’t race in the rain also and they also have a lot covered stands! No one races a oval track in the rain. If anyone will brains was watching the weather forecast and still flew to the race then that’s on them…Duhh If the Daytona 500 gets postponed, NASCAR's Weather Protection Program will allow fans to exchange their ticket for another race at a designated track since season or for the 2025 Daytona 500. www.daytonainternationalspeedway.com/weather-protection-program/ |

The 24 hours of Le Mans runs in the rain So does the Rolex 24 at Dayton but they have also stopped the race due to heavy rains. Racing in the dry weather is a faster race than racing in the rain, the speeds aren’t the same! The attendance isn’t the same also…..go figure. |
