In one video, I had 15 coons on my corn after trapping 13 this fall. They just keep coming in like insects.

Sounds like you need to do some night hunting. Wish I lived close enough to come help ya out. I want to get a good sized coon and attempt to make my own coon skin hat.

I'm thinking I have to wait until coon season. I'll have plenty of pelts if you want one. I don't sell them. I give the meat to a fella who eats them; he has friends who eat them too. I'll trap them as soon as I'm finished deer hunting. I won't while I'm hunting; I don't want to disturb the area.

Sounds to me they are nuisance animals and can be dispatched at any time lol. But yes I would love to have a couple if you wouldn't mind. Just in case I need a re do. I reckon they would need to be tanned to make the hats but I believe a buddy at work could help me out there. I would also reimburse you for the shipping cost if you would like when it comes that time.

I remember a guy posting a question to the CO, and he said the guy could kill the opossums, but not the rabbits or coons in his garden. I can't imagine anyone complaining about shooting a nuisance coon, but I hate to do something I'm not supposed to do. I lose sleep over stuff like this. They are a nuisance for sure! Sure, I can get you some pelts; it looks like I can get 15. LOL I would shoot them and throw them in a ditch, but I don't want to attract coyotes.

No I was being sarcastic. I don't want to see or hear of anyone getting into any trouble. I don't suppose I will need that many lol but you never know I could get into the coon skin hat business lol.

Every time a coon dies an egg stands a better chance of hatching.

Just because a handful of coons eat baby animals and eggs doesn't mean all of them are bad orintend to do harm #coonlivesmatter #pawsupdontshoot

Pelts would probably be worthless this time of year anyhow.

Pelts would probably be worthless this time of year anyhow. I'm not thinking pelts are worth much in season anymore. This is why I have soooooo many of them. I'm thinking that I need a permit to shoot them, and I'm not the owner, so I probably can't anyway. I'll just let them get fat until I can get my revenge.

It might be hard to claim they are being a nuisance eating corn you put out for wildlife.

You have so many because the price of pelts have been so low for a few years. And most of the other hunters think a coon hunter is a bad thing. And do not allow night hunting on there property.

I didn't have any food out for a while and the bulk of them went to a better grocery store. They must have found some sweet corn. I still have about 4 that come around every night. I sure wish they were afraid of deer.
Hey, someone called me wanting to pay me to get rid of a opossum problem for them. He said that they eat the poison like it was a chocolate bar and just get fat.
I guess I'll live trap it as he lives in Greenwood.

My trail camera at home is mostly coons. I trapped 13 last season and my neighbor 11. I still think there are that many left. I think there are more coons than mice.
