LOL! You couldn't blow a goose call today if I paid ya! Just so everyone knows, John has one of the worst sounding colds I've ever heard. Our paths crossed last night at a gas station in Noblesville @ 1:20am while he was on his way home from work, and I was on my way to work. He was coughing, gagging, hacking, choking, wheezing.... He sounded like a dying calf!!!! Anyway, he deserves some pity cause he really illin!!!!

Being it's Fathers Day weekend other plans were made besides with all the activties you have planned I would have to tow a trailer behind my pickup just to get all my stuff there. Anyhow I am not sure I want to be seen around some many older people with guns the general public might think that we are a military unit of AARP. HAVE A GREAT TIME.

Not sure about the fish, I've been a busy man lately and may not get the time to catch 'em. I will definitely do up the wings though. Gonna try to corral my grandson to come with me.

I will be there with my boyfriend. We can bring noodles with turkey as a side and "dirt pudding" for dessert. Question--is there an outlet to plug in a crock pot to keep the noodles warm? BOYFRIEND WHAT THE HECK What ?A young lady can not bring her boyfriend?

Skip the surgery DD and make the trip. I know some members that are fairly handy with a knife..... I'm sure we can take that GB out way cheaper than any doctor can!

The more I hear about this get-together, the more I believe a person would be well advised to wear a pair of hip waders. Since I'm only 5'7", maybe chest waders would be more prudent.

Good thinking Hux!!! I'm not a fan of brats, but how are you fellas gonna cook 'em without beer to pour over 'em? Isn't that standard protocol for slow-cooking a brat? ?

I was going through my freezer over the weekend and discovered that I have a bit more venison than I thought I had, I'm considering making a nice batch of slow cooked pulled bbq from some of it for the GT.
