Looks like B & C is now allowing "shopping" after all. Couldn't help but notice the score sheet doesn't show the original measurements by the "certified" scorer who submitted it. B & C needs to take a look at their training and certifacation process and maybe look at procedures. Could it be the original scorer either added up the numbers again or rescored it himself? I doubt that two different B&C scorers scored it just because some one heArd it was scored a different number.. Either way the 305 score is the entry score. It will still need to be panel scored to be "official". m.facebook.com/BooneAndCrockettClub?id=211465339777&refsrc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FBooneAndCrockettClub&_rdr

The way I read it, it was submitted at 308 and under review. Rescored at 305 as the official score with an explanation of the first scorers error? Apparently, the first scorer needs to be retrained by the reviewer. B & C is losing credibility with these rescoring deals. I'm all for ONE official score and nothing else released pretaining to other opinions.

The original scorer missed it by less then 3 inches on a buck that scores 305 im guessing it wasnt the easiest buck to score. Cut the guy some slack !! What are you gonna say about this new score if the panel changes it.

305 to 308 is a LOT of inches. The more points and inches the greater room for error.
It still has to be panel scored....there could be change plus or minus on that one too..
I don't think we need to pick this to death..

Generally, the panel either accepts the score as submitted or doesn't. The score won't change if they accept it as "measured correctly".

One thing is for sure...it's a mighty big buck!
Unquestionably the state record and at least the #2 buck ever killed by a hunter. I'd take it!

That it is.
Guess I'll just stick with my original opinion that time will tell on the process.....

The panels will put a tape to it, so it's more than just verified. You can call B & C again and verify that if you want?

You guys are ate up. I could care less who or when it gets scored but I also fall into the rare category of not caring who shines a flashlight onto my property!
One heck of a deer regardless of what record it obtains or not!

Correct....when they score it at the panel, they will verify it. the score won't change from what it is now. But I've already said all that. When they verify it, the hunter can protest all he wants and it won't matter. Most hunters that disagree with a score, don't send them to the panel anyway.

The only way to "verify" the rack is to remeasure it. They can't go by a individual score sheet or a video. Only then it will be "official". B & C posted that they panel score the top five in that session and/or any entry that could conceivably be in the top ten all time. This buck qualifies both ways.

Time will tell if you are right or wrong. Just going by what B and C posts in the comment section on their FB page. Read it and see if you interpret it differently than I do ..

I have seen a few posts in there that lead me to believe that I shouldn't take all that is posted as b&c policy.
A couple times they referred to this buck as the possible world record. Justed seems like the page is run a little informal.
