Wonder how long it will take a civil suit to be filed? I heard a sports talk show host say he doubts there will be one now that the boy who was killed was found with weed in his system. Apparently the talk show host is wrong....Here's a statement from the young man's family released an hour or two ago... "Our son got out of his car during caution when the race was suspended. All the other vehicles were reducing speed and not accelerating except for Stewart, who intentionally tried to intimidate Kevin by accelerating and sliding his car toward him, causing the tragedy. The focus should be on the actions of Mr. Stewart. This matter is not at rest and we will pursue all remedies in fairness to Kevin.”

Yeah, you can't really blame them. I don't know how I would react if I were in their situation, it's hard to tell. The "fact" is Kevin Ward Jr was found with enough marijuana in his system to "impair his judgement". It is going to be hard to to find any evidence to show Tony did anything wrong. I think if that evidence existed, he would have been charged.
I am not sticking up for Tony, I don't have a dog in this fight. I know if Tony did try to intimidate the kid, he will have to live with that even if he isn't in trouble with the law.

This matter will end up in a civil court battle. And when it's all said and done. There will be a couple of lawyers that win.

I know many disagree with it (as I do), but in the end, I still think Tony Stewart cuts a check. I just wonder if after this fatal accident and breaking his leg a couple years back if Stewart will ever race sprint cars again. I doubt I would......
