Rained all day here, close to 50 degrees. I have never seen a winter like this up here. My yard is bare, hell I feel like I should start getting the mower ready!! Figures, the year I get a new bearcat snowmobile, all decked out with a cargo box, new auger rack, momma got me a new Mr heater for Christmas, new inline reals….and we have no snow!!

Abbie and I visited a pond this afternoon. How many times can you say you fished Christmas Eve in t-shirt weather? Fish weren't biting very well at all, but enough for our supper one night this week. Bass was 16", one bluegill 9", and the other 7 1/2". All caught on redworms leftover from a while back. I'm shocked at how much longer redworms keep than nightcrawlers. These have lasted since mid-October! Merry Christmas everybody!

No snow on the ice sure makes it nice for walking and dragging a sled.

I dunno, those grilled shark steaks look pretty dang good themselves! Maybe a thick, honey teriyaki glaze poured over top... mmmm!

I've had shark, and if it's not a Mako or Thresher, I'll pass. I have not had any sharks from Florida. What species did they catch?
