I would appreciate you all's prayers on this.
I dont have a good feeling on this as I've had a sore throat for a little over three weeks and my voice has become somewhat hoarse.
My GP put me on a steroid and a couple different antibiotics back three weeks ago thinking it was all sinus drainage. Very little, if any, improvement.
Hopefully it is something as simple as allergy..
Thanks....

Not a very good question. Is the proposal to have three months of any weapon to mirror archery? Or two weeks of any weapon to mirror firearms? The question was absolutely perfect. The problem is you. Must be I’m a “problem” too Beermaker as it was clear as mud what time frame he was posting about, such as “Separate seasons or any-weapon season?” Most deer hunters don’t want any loss of opportunity so an “any hunting tool season” would have to be 3 1/2 months of firearms. Some folks are never satisfied or have agendas.

Text for the Day -- James 2:14-16 ---------- What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but do not have works? Can faith save you? If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food, and one of you says to them, 'Go in peace; keep warm and eat your fill', and yet you do not supply their bodily needs, what is the good of that?
Devotional ---------- Are Christians obligated to obey God's commandments if they are saved by grace through faith without keeping the Law perfectly? God's grace does not eliminate the commandments. Faith is the receiving instrument of God's message of salvation in Christ. But, faith can also be used to describe a Christian's faithfulness to God's commandments. You be "faith-filled" by the Holy Spirit to believe in God's grace in Christ to forgive you and claim you. But, you can also be "faith-full" in following God's teachings.
Prayer --------------- Help me, Lord, not to use grace as an excuse for avoiding faithfulness. Amen

The “as a” seems interesting! This is the rest of the response. There is no way of knowing 100% , someone could remove tag and let a captive deer into wild hypothetically. Nice round hole in both ears.

Good deal. The older I get the more I realize knowing is not all bad. I tend to avoid dr offices as much as I can but really only fools stay blind. So by the time I am your age...yeah I will have been turned to dirt by way of possums and buzzards! Ya’ never know Duff.. at your age I never thought I’d make it to 72. I’ll turn 85 on June 3rd…and am in reasonably good health. The good Lord has blessed me a LOT more than I deserve.

When Ted Turner started CNN it was what America watched. First round the clock news. Then I think he had condensed version called HLN - Head Line News.
Somewhere down the line they made a hard left turn.
A little satire on CNN -
NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—The president of CNN Worldwide, Jeff Zucker, attempted on Wednesday to defuse the brewing controversy over his decision to change the network’s official slogan from “The Most Trusted Name in News” to “Holy Crap, We’re All Gonna Die.”
“This exciting new slogan is just one piece of our over-all rebranding strategy,” Zucker said. “Going forward, we want CNN to be synonymous with the threat of imminent death.”
He added that the network expected to see strong ratings growth as a result of having the words “Holy Crap, We’re All Gonna Die” on-screen twenty-four hours a day.
Part of Zucker’s new strategy was on display during Tuesday’s edition of the network’s signature program, “The Situation Room,” in which a visibly ill-at-ease Wolf Blitzer appeared dressed as The Grim Reaper.
“That’s a work in progress,” Zucker said about Blitzer’s makeover. “But once Wolf gets comfortable swinging that scythe, he’s going to be amazing.”

Text for the Day -- Matthew 15:32-39 ---------- Then Jesus called his disciples to him and said, 'I have compassion for the crowd, because they have been with me now for three days and have nothing to eat; and I do not want to send them away hungry, for they might faint on the way.' The disciples said to im, 'Where are we to get enough bread in the desert to feed so great a crowd?' Jesus asked them, 'How many loaves have you?' They said, 'Seven, and a few small fish.' Then ordering the crowd to sit down on the ground, he took the seven loaves and the fish; and after giving thanks he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. And all of them ate and were filled; and they took up the broken pieces left over, seven baskets full. Those who had eaten were four thousand men, besides women and children. After sending away the crowds, he got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan.
Devotional ---------- Bread plays an important role in the Biblical story. Bread is a sign of God's care and compassion for God's creatures, including humans. The manna in the wilderness sustained Israel day by day. The prophet Elijah was sustained in the widow's home by a grain pot that never emptied. In the wilderness Jesus had compassion on the crowd and fed four thousand. God's presence is bread for the journey, whether to feed the body, soul or spirit. In Holy Communion, as well as on our dinner table, bread continues to be a sign that God journeys with us and is present to our lives.
Prayer -------------- Bread of Life, feed my hunger for your presence and feed our neighbors through your Body, the Church. Amen

Text for the Day -- Lamentations 3:1-3, 19-24 ---------- I am one who has seen affliction under the rod of God s wrath; he has driven and brought me into darkness without any light; against me alone he turns his hand, again and again, all day long.
The thought of my affliction and my homelessness is wormwood and gall! My soul continually thinks of it and is bowed down within me. But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, says my soul, therefore I will hope in him.
Devotional ---------- Jesus was in the tomb! All creation holds its breath. Will this darkness last forever? When you are in the midst of the darkness it feels as if nothing will bring light or life. Yet, there is hope. "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases." In the end God is faithful to remember that you are beloved and chosen. There is always hope with God!
Prayer ----------------- Help me feel your loving presence when I am in the darkness, Lord. Amen

Text for the Day -- Deuteronomy 26:1-3 ---------- When you have come into the land that the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance to possess, and you possess it, and settle in it, you shall take some of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which you harvest from the land that the LORD your God is giving you, and you shall put it in a basket and go to the place that the LORD your God will choose as a dwelling for his name. You shall go to the priest who is in office at that time, and say to him, 'Today I declare to the LORD your God that I have come into the land that the LORD swore to our ancestors to give us.'
Devotional ---------- The people of Israel knew this story well. They gave testimony to the way God acted upon them. They owed their life, their land and their nation to God's gift of grace. Their worship and festivals expressed gratitude and acknowledgment to God for all that they had been given.
Have you given shape to the story that tells how God's grace enfolded and nurtured your life? Have you found a way to re-live that story and share it with others? What is the role of gratitude in your faith life? Can you live with these questions for a time?
Prayer Cause me to remember the moments that define your grace in my life, Lord. Amen

Cut my yard today.
I should have bailed it. It was that tall.
Set the Snapper as tall as I could get it and mowed it the slowest speed.
Took awhile but I got it done.

I am on Facebook to keep up with my nephews and nieces and their kids. Also friends and old schoolmates. Most of them would have zero interest in HI. There are several good gun related sites too. For whatever reason it does not take much to get sent to the corner. I think the people that are in charge of putting the folks in FB Jail just do it to meet numbers. They show up to the weekly meeting and spout numbers of inmates for the bosses. Exactly!!
