Add 2 to Team 3. For once the grey squirrels at the property I was hunting cooperated (but I think wearing light camo pants and a camo game vest over a dark grey shirt helped). Would have stayed out later but I didn't want to bother the squirrels anymore. Those squirrels will run to their nests as soon as any squirrel hunter shoots within a radius of about 100 yards and won't come back out until there's no sign of danger. And I employ the stalk method, so I don't usually sit still for very long. Heard a third squirrel a ways off that must have seen something it didn't like and was barking at me (I think). Squirrel one was right on the ground in some brush at the base of the hill, and Squirrel Two was up a tree trunk scolding me.
I have a photo but from past experiences I don't think I can upload it from my phone. For some reason my phone photos are generally too big of a file to be uploaded to forums. It has happened to me a few times on a different forum. I can email the photo to myself and try to upload it from my computer tomorrow.

If you use post image you can post any pic you want. Pretty simple process.

I’m not much into squirrel hunting any more, but I walked out the other day and a squirrel jumped out from up inside my excursion. For some reason they like that thing. Time for that one to go bye bye. My son or myself will be taking care of that one or any other in the vicinity soon. Can’t be having them destroying wiring or anything else in the vehicle.

Super easy to download Tapatalk to your phone and post any pic directly in the Tapatalk app. Tapatalk does seem to have a preference for landscape-view photos though. Occasionally the portrait-view uploads sideways.

I keep getting the message that the file is too large (more than 1 megabyte). That's why I don't like uploading images from my old Android phone! It has NEVER worked for me. I can upload images taken through my own camera without doing a whole lot to them, but the forums I am on don't seem to like Android images period.

The picture I posted I tried to upload on the computer too and couldn't get it to work. I tried it on Tapatalk and it worked just great, I have an Android phone too.

Finally, here's a pic of the 2 I shot a few days ago. Both greys. Number one got his head busted good enough to cause rigor mortis, that's why he's all curled up.

Congrats Grant on putting a couple of squirrels on the ground. Great to see a young lad like you enjoying the hunting outdoors.

Please add two for team 4. First spot this morning looked very promising but was overrun with pineys. Bailed around 830 and went to another unit. Managed a couple as the morning activity died off.

Please add 2 more for Team 1. Went to another of my good spots and just not the usual numbers of squirrels. Personal total is now 10.

Thanks, it's an Uncle Henry 153. I'd already made the tail cut to skin and realized I hadn't got a pic yet haha.

Please add 5 more for Team 1. Took the Browning BL-22 Deluxe for a boat ride this morning to a new spot with Hickory and Pecan I found Saturday. Got beached and just up the bank a bit when the 1st one started down the tree I was under. First time out for the Browning in 2 years I think and my 1st mixed bag of the season. Personal total is now 15.

Please add 1 for team 4 Got him Saturday morning on an otherwise slow day. I think they are getting wise to me at my usual spots. Will head to uncharted territory next weekend.
