Xfinity racing: That was a real heart breaker for Allgaier leading the race then having a flat tire and hitting the wall with 4 laps to go.

Stewart qualified 7th in his first round of TOP FUEL qualifying.
Not to shabby for right off the trailer in a field of 16.

Another good morning on the ice. Brother went with, didn’t take long to get a mess of gills. As much as I love to fish I have to admit that looks awfully lonely, and cold.

will be a doozy!
On SR.39 about 1/2 mile south of US 30 was a very large gravel mining operation that covers several hundred acres which is now non-operational and has become a very deep lake. A couple years ago the DNR erected a 40 foot plus pole with a nesting platform at the top which I believe was or is intended for OSPREY nesting. I have never seen any thing using that pole till today.
On my way to Winamac I saw something on top of the pole so on our way home I stopped and glassed it with the binoculars and there on top of this pole is a CANADA goose and it's mate.
This pole is located on the shore of the lake so there is a chance the goslings might have a survivable FIRST STEP.

I have purchased fish from them several times when they would travel to Plymouth, Indiana. They were easy to deal with, their prices were reasonable and their fish were of good quality and healthy. You don't need to bring anything to transport the fish they put them in heavy plastic bags that are injected with air. I have transported them for over an hour with no loss. I recommend this business.

Thought I would treat the wife to a new place so we ended up at ONE EYED JACKS in Winamac. They are known for big food especially their breaded tenderloins. These things are the size of a hubcap even the buns are huge, we also had breaded deep fried portabella mushrooms and onion rings, The beer was super cold and the food was excellent. This was the first time in my life that I asked for a to-go box and together my wife and I brought home enough left overs for another meal each. www.facebook.com/oneeyedjackswinamac/

At the beginning of the race JOEY LOGANO had to do pass through the pits as punishment for violating a rule regarding his gloves. Attached is the reason he got penalized.
Before the Ambetter Health 400, Joey Logano received a controversial penalty due to his glove not meeting safety requirements. The glove in question was used in qualifying but may have not been the glove Logano planned to use in the NASCAR race today.
Regardless, Joey Logano did use the glove. NASCAR took a look at it Sunday morning and found that there was an alteration made to the glove. Due to the alteration, it did not meet SFI requirements and was a safety violation.
According to NASCAR, the glove was webbed between the index and thumb. It seems that Logano used the glove to block more air in his window than he normally would be able to.
Here is Larry McReynolds explaining the penalty and consequences on FOX RaceDay.

Good for you, I like it when folks try new ideas in the outdoors. I have neighbors that use sealed plastic bags to catch the tapped syrup.

I love the taste of fresh cold water Smallmouth. Maybe that should be an Erie trip instead of trolling for WE? A lot of restrictions on the Ohio Lake Erie Smallmouth during cool weather times. Smallmouth bass spawn in late spring, and to reduce fishing pressure on bass there is a daily harvest limit on Lake Erie of one bass from May 1 to June 23, 2023, with an 18-inch minimum size. Outside of this timeframe, the daily limit for smallmouth bass is five, with a 14-inch minimum size.
