My next toy...Smith n Wesson 629 Talo with a 2.5 or 3 inch barrel. Haven't decided barrel length yet.
John Snow....try a Remington 1100 Sporting 28. It's lIght...fast swing...with the recoil of a 10/22 rifle. If you can't find one I may be able to do you a loaner for squirrel season next year...but I do have a camo 11-87 20ga also....maybe help you sneak up on them better???...lol
And the 30-06 is a great pistol round. Believe it or not I would prefer shooting it as a pistol over a rifle any day. Shot my longest deer shot ever on a doe off a bipod with mine. She dropped in her tracks while she was grazing corn stubble. 287 yards...Hornady ammo with a V-max bullet (I believe it was either a 155 grain or a 168 grain round, can't remember) Exit wound looked like a racquetball went through there.

Have to agree with Kevin my 15" 30-06 barrel is very accurate one of my very best shooters including my MGM's & Bullnerry's.

Yup...stick with a 15 inch...and stay away form anything with a muzzle brake!! A brake would require you to wear earmuffs when hunting...simple ear plugs will not suffice...downright painful with just one shot.

I've got a ported 14" T/C Contender in 35 Rem. and it doesn't bother me when hunting, course my hearing isn't quite what it use to be,probably from all those years using a ported 10" New Model Super Blackhawk in 44 mag without hearing protection.

Well, not quite "on the list", but something I had tossed around for quite some time. An electric blue Jeep Wrangler soft with a manual transmission.
I got money out of my bank ATM Christmas Eve and there, across the street, was a 2014 electric blue Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with a black soft top and 6 speed manual transmission.......
I bought it yesterday. Not having a car payment was nice for the 8 months it lasted. :-)
Now the rest of my list has instantly been put on the back burner, but I'll do my best to handle the disappointment. ;-)

Is it a hybrid or all electric?

Oh the pain! I'm bent over with it. This hurts. I do take testosterone so I don't have to shoot a kids gun. LOL Try one. I shoot one often when we do range day at my hunter ed classes. They are fantastic. I shoot an alex martin side by side 20 gauge around a hundred years old and made for either a youth or a lady. its that small my friend can hit pigeons with it one handed, but he did shoot for scotland, lol Its a beutiful gun its very small and get lots of comments like oh thats a kids gune etc etc iv heard them all. some from my own kids, which suits me because they never use it. lol. UNTIL They see the partridges and pheasants starting to fall to it. Small, light, fast handling thats what one needs for partridge and pheasant shooting and prbably squirrels. i reckon. The famous saying is its not the size that matters its how one uses it. lol regards Billy

Hi single-shooter, I'm too big and ugly to sneak up on anything, but I can get within shotgun range. LOL I now have some more weapons that will help me out, but I still have a long list. I bet that 11-87 is nice too. I like camo, especially id I'm actually going to use it. I don't have any safe queens. If I'm not using it, there's a good chance that I'll give it to someone who will. Hey, can you post a photo of what you use with the 30-06. I have a few boxes from when I had the rifle. I'd still like to have another.
